Qualification rules for individual
entries (Rule 4.01)
Skiers not selected for their national teams
may qualify to compete in the World Championships as individuals only in the
relevant event(s) if they meet one or more of the following criteria:
1.
World record holder.
The performance
must have been ratified by the Tournament Council and the President of the IWSF
30 days before the first day of the World Championships.
2.
Top 6 of the 2006 World Cup placements
3.
The following placements on the May 2007 IWSF Ranking
List
Slalom Men 16
Slalom Women 12
Jump Men 14
Jump Women 10
Tricks Men 8
Tricks Women 8
Overall Men/Women 5
4.
The following placements on the Elite Ranking List for
the 2007 season up to and including the World Cup Tournament in Dubna on July
28/29
Slalom Men 14
Slalom Women 10
Jump Men 12
Jump Women 8
Tricks Men 8
Tricks Women 8
5.
Reigning World Champions in any
event or the overall from the previous (2005) held
World Championships.
All skiers qualified as individuals must be
entered by their Federation.
Skiers entering as individuals shall not
have their scores count toward team standings.
